Things are looking up now. Lauren had her first birthday and her party was lots of fun. It was just with the family so it wasn't too big. Our house is small so there is no way more people would have fit. It was tight with just family. She had a great time and helped open all the gifts. She loved her cake and actually ate most of it.
She is now always sleeping through the night and it is great. The earliest she is up now is 6:30 but that is very rare and she occasionally sleeps till 8:30.
I am back to work and it feels like I never left. Everything is still the same including all the same high school crap that goes on with the staff. I love my job but not all the things that come along with working with women. Lauren does great at my parents place while we are at work. The last day that Tony took her there she didn't even wake up when he buckled her in the car and drove her there. She did wake up when she got there but went right back to sleep.
We sold our place and bought a new one. It has some work that we will have to do when we move in and they wouldn't come down on the price but we love the area and the house will be good for us. I don't think we will ever move again except to downsize when we are older. This one has a suite in it but it isn't rented and we probably won't have renters unless we really need them.
I am looking forward to the summer and can't wait for holidays. We weren't able to go away last summer so I am hoping to have at least a week and a half at the lake this year.
