I need sleep

For those that know me they know that I love sleep. When I was pregnant with Lauren I was exhausted all the time although I got lots of sleep. This is worse. I never thought I could be more exhausted. The worst part is I am sick of people telling me that they all went through it when their kids were young. Then they say that their kids slept 12 hours at night. Well then it is your own fault that you didn't get that much sleep. If mine slept that long I would not be this tired. Lauren sleeps 8 hours or less at night. Usually less. That means that after I put her to bed I still have to make lunches for the next day and make her formula. I can't do that till after she is in bed as it is only good for 24 hours. She is up at 4am everyday which is just too early. I can't even let her play and me nap on the floor as she won't just play on her own. She wants to play with me. Or she just screams and screams because she is actually tired but won't sleep. If she naps it is only for an hour which I like to try and get in a shower or get other stuff done around here that I can't do if she is awake. I have talked to many people, Doctors say there is nothing wrong. The sleep consultant told me that she should just have one nap a day for 2 hours to make her sleep better. I think she missed the part that she is only sleeping an hour or less for a nap. You just can't force a person to sleep. I can just hope that she is getting the last of her 2 year molars and once they are done we are done with teeth till she is about 5 or6. I can hope anyway. Her teeth have never kept her from sleeping before though. I just want to sleep. I am sick of people telling me it is normal. Yeah well everyone who said that didn't get up at 4, deal with a screaming baby till I leave for work at 7, work 12 hours where I need to be alert, Drive to white rock and pick her up from my parents. Get home at 9 put her to bed, Do dishes, make lunches for the next day, make formula, have a shower, get my stuff ready for work the next day and then get to bed about 11 and do it all over again. For those that do how do you do it. For those that don't quit telling me it is normal, How would you know you never had to do it.
