Summer

Well I can't believe that we are almost through the Summer already. At least this year it has been nice. I know that the past 2 years have been cold and raining for most of it. I know this because we have had 2 weeks each summer at the lake where it was awful. This year we were excited as we were going to have 3 weeks up there and we hoped for good weather. Unfortunately we only got the weekend. Tony used up all of his holidays with Lauren in the hospital. I don't blame him I know I couldn't go back to work with her being sick. When he did go back it was awful for him. So we decided to go away for at least the long weekends. Tony got Friday and Tuesday off this time so it made it a bit longer for us. I think the thing that bugged me the most was that this summer it has been so nice and we could have had 3 weeks with nice weather. It did get a bit too hot here though. At least at the lake when it is 40 we can just go and jump in the lake. Or in Laurens case she can just float around in her pool which she did for an hour at a time.

I had a hard time leaving the lake. I don't know what it was but I was almost in tears. I have never felt like that before, I swear my hormones are worse now that I am not pregnant. I really wanted my summer up there I think then maybe it would have felt normal to have a baby and our family there. Instead by only having the weekend it reminded me of what Lauren had to go through.

I can't believe she is 15 weeks already. It doesn't seem like that long I think. I am going to miss her little days as she is growing so fast. I can see how people want to have another baby right away so that they don't miss these stages. I think though that as much as I don't want her to grow up yet I think that I will like it as she grows and becomes such a little girl instead of a baby.
